Rules and Guidelines

In order to make your experience at The Realm of Doravoc a pleasant one, we have laid down a code of conduct that all members are expected to uphold. Failure to adhere to this set of rules will result in disciplinary action and in extreme cases, banning.

Thread Postings:
  1. Keep postings relevant to the current forum, while maintaining a level of respect for other users. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions.
  2. We hold a zero-tolerance policy towards spam.
  3. Persistent harassment, insults, and stalking other users is not tolerated.
  4. Be courteous on the forums, and abstain from using vulgarities.
  5. Explicit posts that are sexual in nature are absolutely not allowed.

Image Postings:

  1. Try to keep your images PG-13. Tasteful nudity is allowed on a case-by-case basis, but on the whole, it is a good idea to cater to a range of audiences. This includes the very young.

Grounds for banning include:

  • Botting. Using an automated script, macro, or refreshing feature (Botting) is forbidden. The use of any software or codes to generate gold without the need for you being in front of your computer is generally considered as botting. Anyone suspected of botting will have their account banned.
  • Scamming. We reward our users with Gold Pieces and hard to find items, but we do not condone people who try to take other users' assets with get-rich-quick schemes or promises of rare items. Running any kind of scam - including but not limited to lottery scams or trade scams will be met with displinary action.
  • Hacking. Hacking is defined as "the unauthorized access to another user's account". Attempts to hack, trying to obtain another user's passwords will lead to banning.
  • Impersonating a The Realm of Doravoc Staff Member. This includes Administrators and Moderators.

We have designed these rules in order to minimize conflict and maximize your game experience. Our moderators have the power to enforce such rules and act on behalf of The Realm of Doravoc's best interests.

As a rule of thumb, always log off after every session to prevent others from logging in as yourself and trading your money and items away. You should also know that under NO circumstances will The Realm of Doravoc officials ask you to reveal your password. NEVER give your password away to ANYONE. Staff Members will never ask you for your password at any point of time.

Failure to comply with these rules and guidelines may result in disciplinary action and ultimately in the termination of your The Realm of Doravoc account.
